Description/Job Summary
Position: Marketing / Group Marketing Specialist
Position Objective:
This position reports to the Senior Executive Manager. The Marketing / Group Marketing Specialist is a multifaceted role that will facilitate all aspects of Fantapak & other Grocery/Retail marketing efforts, including design, traditional & digital marketing techniques, photography, website management, and other marketing initiatives. This position will play a key pro-active role in the expansion of Fantapak & other Grocery/Retail's internal & external B2B market presence. In conjunction with the strategic direction of the company, the key focus of the Marketing / Group Marketing Specialist is to recommend and develop engaging marketing content that will enable the sales team, including the management and design of up to date web content, utilization of analytics for direct marketing efforts, assist in the creation of original artwork for both custom and stock product lines, generate and manage a database of product photos & videos and generate excitement both internally and externally through the development and deployment of integrated sales and marketing tools.
Duties:
Recommend and participate in the development and completion of all marketing strategies & programs
Utilize Adobe Suite to create, maintain and update traditional, digital marketing & video material such as spec sheets, sell sheets, FAQ's, flyers, infographics, trade show material, advertisements, social media posts and other sales & marketing materials
Shoot, edit and organize product photos and videos keeping in line with brand standards
Manage and maintain Fantapak's website, including writing, designing and editing web page content to keep the site up-to-date
Keep current on standards, trends, and requirements for modern web applications
Utilize Analytic tools to gauge the effectiveness of Fantapak's marketing efforts and apply the information to optimize and craft new marketing material that is aligned with target market
Design appealing packaging and artwork, including but not limited to Fantapak, which align with the specific company's vision and brand identity
Develop and manage internal communication content (ITV) to ensure Fantapak's & Inteplast's key messages are distributed on a regular basis
Develop graphics, messaging and output for Fantapak and Grocery/Retail internal or external social media
Maintain a dynamic marketing calendar to pro-actively schedule announcements against industry events, market seasonality and company news, etc.
Promote new and existing products to inside and outside Sales to generate interest and increase revenue
Maintain and update company archives and use information for basis of communications
Track competitor news and trends and report to Management Team
Arrange events and coordinate all needs for tradeshows
Attend, photograph and document company events
Maintain and update customer and media contact lists
Prepare samples, maintain neat, orderly and stocked sample room
Provide monthly report including completed projects, open projects and projects upcoming for following month, running ITV counts, updates to web-site, pertinent market/competitor updates, etc.
Maintain an understanding of current marketing trends and practices through continuing education, reading or participation in professional conferences, workshops or groups
Provide suggestions and insights into new and emerging design trends and capabilities in the digital marketing space
Understand the requirements and specifications of video, GIF, and other types of digital assets
Stay up to date on specs, file size requirements and technical requirements for digital marketing
Adhere to Fantapak and Inteplast brand guidelines, business practices and philosophies
Aid various departments within Fantapak with special projects, as requested
Engage with external vendors and agencies while developing high-quality content for special projects
Utilize online services such as Constant Contact to distribute, track and manage results of email & direct marketing efforts
Review incoming container lists and update necessary information on sales orders
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
3 to 5 years Marketing experience
Skills/Qualifications:
Established computer skills, including Adobe Creative Suite, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in ideation and design
Ability to recommend, conceive, design, develop and apply creative ideas across digital channels
Digital object/brand photography
Ability to create video content
Knowledge of graphic design principles and practices, including layout, typography and use of tone and color
Familiarity with front-end website development & design, experience designing and implementing landing pages plus practice with SEO / SEM, analytics, etc.
Experience with analytics tools and data analysis
Experience in branding and design for both print and digital
Thorough understanding of display and social media specifications
Detail oriented to ensure accuracy in all facets of design and execution
Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/campaigns at the same time with commitment to meeting deadlines
Understanding and ability to utilize AI tools to enhance content
Mindset to work independently, be self-motivated, creative and think strategically
Ability to collaborate with multiple departments, across divisions, at a variety of levels
Comfortable in fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to evolving priorities
