*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following
- Import CAD model from 3D mold design into electrode design CAD/CAM software.
- Communicate with CNC graphite and EDM machinists, mold makers, project engineers and management for any specific requirements
- Design electrodes based on; line up, machining capabilities.
- Strategically design electrodes for efficient CNC machining and EDM machining
- Continuously work closely with employees to improve design
- Follow procedures written in the Quality Systems Manual
Essential Education & Abilities
- Ability to interact effectively with various departments within the organization.
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to multi-task
- Prefer 2-3 years of design experience.
- EDM experience preferred
- High Schools degree/GED.
