The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for overseeing the daily workflow, develop schedules, and act as subject matter experts for their units. Develops and leads staff to be personally accountable for the organizational mission, core values and success. Ensures appropriate orientation for new employees to the unit. Assures current standards of practice for the unit. Strong communication skills, acts as liaison between the physicians, floor nurses, imagining staff and ordering physicians.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Responsible for entire patient care experience.

· Performs imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals.

· Performs IV starts and contrast administration upon successful completion of internal department standards, as applicable to your modality.

· Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to “as low as reasonably achievable” (ALARA).

· Explains the procedure to patients and responds to their physical and emotional needs.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

  • 1 year of related experience

  • Current Registered Technologist, Radiology – R.T. (R) (ARRT)

  • BLS Certified
