Job Description
We are looking for a Systems Administrator responsible for managing and maintaining our computer systems and networks, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency. The role involves entering radio information into the network, maintaining accurate user records, adhering to ADEM and AWIN processes, and delivering exemplary customer service . This position will be full-time and onsite.
What You’ll Do
Enter and manage radio information within the network to activate radios effectively
Maintain precise records of user information for operational integrity
Execute tasks in compliance with the clients' processes
Address user issues by providing timely and accurate responses to questions and requests
Handle incoming telephone calls and emails from internal and external customers regarding system-related problems
Ensure client confidentiality and operation protection by keeping sensitive information secure
Monitor system alarms and coordinate with technical maintenance staff to resolve issues promptly
Play a collaborative role in team efforts to achieve departmental and organizational goals
What You'll Need
Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Help Desk Support Analyst
Minimum 3 years of experience with IT security practices and protocols
Minimum 3 years of experience in logging and documenting technical problems and issues
Minimum 3 years of experience working independently and as part of a team
Prior experience in an environment that required lifting at least 50 lbs
Exceptional customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
Clear and effective communication via telephone and email
Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
In-depth technical knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, and networks
Strong troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to resolving issues
Superior organizational and time management skills
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a diverse team
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Proven experience in system support or a related technical support role (minimum 3 years)
Familiarity with IT security practices and protocols
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
