Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Staff Accountant within the HydraForce Finance & Accounting Team, you will be responsible for accurately compiling financial data, analyzing this data and making recommendations to management based on your analysis. In this position, you will be required to know and confirm compliance with IFRS regulations and internal control requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Compile financial statements.

  • Prepare Journal Entries

  • Complete Account Reconciliations

  • Responsible for aligning with and following internal controls.

  • Assists with company strategic planning.

  • Assists with special projects as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Work Environment:

This position will be initially onsite for 90 days for training purposes. Going forward, it will be on a hybrid schedule of 2 days of work remotely and 3 days onsite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • One to three years experience in financial reporting in a manufacturing environment preferred. Open for recent graduates also.

  • Ability to work with all levels of management.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, 4th shift or SAP a plus.
