JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to support initiatives that improve quality, product and/or compliance related to laboratory, production, and facilities processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate developing knowledge in key quality engineering responsibilities below:

  • Support qualification lifecycle by performing review and approval of protocols, discrepancies and non-conformances, and reports regarding Qualifications and Validations at the site, including Facility Systems, Laboratory Instruments, Equipment, and Packaging

  • Provide quality support to the Quality Engineering team on routine work and projects as requested

  • Perform data analysis to support investigations or process improvements, including root cause analysis investigations.

  • Support review and closuring of engineering (PM) deviations

  • Support the audit and inspection processes

  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of cGMPs, product types, and any additional training requirements for assigned tasks

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

EHS Responsibilities – All Associates

  • Know, understand and comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines

  • Report unsafe conditions

  • Report all injuries, illnesses and hazardous materials releases

  • Wear personal protective equipment

  • Attend EHS training programs

  • Follow all safe work procedures

Quality Responsibilities – All Associates

  • Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards (Data Integrity, QA, and QC, etc.)

  • Adhere to QMS policy and regulatory requirements

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Associate’s degree in science, engineering, business OR relevant field experience with 2 or more years in an FDA regulated industry

  • 2 years of experience in a Quality, Validation, Product/Process Development, or Engineering functional area

  • Utilizing risk assessment, problem solving, and process improvement tools including FMEA and 5 Whys, to drive improvements to GMP processes and products

  • Authoring, reviewing and/or approving qualification and validation protocol and reports in a GMP environment

  • Performing data analysis and root cause analysis to support deviation investigations, corrective and preventive actions and process improvements

  • Knowledge of cGMPs and FDA regulatory requirements.
