Als Accountant (m/w/d) in unserer EMEA Finanzbuchhaltung sind Sie für die Umsetzung sämtlicher relevanter Buchhaltungstätigkeiten (General Ledger, Accounts Receivables & Payables) verantwortlich. In ihrer Tätigkeit berichten Sie direkt an den Financial Controller. Ihre Tätigkeit führen Sie aus am Standort in Limburg und Hybrid.

In dieser Funktion sieht ein typischer Tag wie folgt aus:

• Haupt-, Kreditoren- und Debitorenbuchhaltung

• Bearbeitung von eingehenden Intercompany Rechnungen

• Abstimmungen von Intercompany Konten

• Überwachen und Abstimmen von Bilanzkonten, Überprüfen und Anpassen von Abweichungen

• Verantwortlich für die Einhaltung der Compliance-Standards

• Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Monatsabschlüssen und anderer relevanter Finanzberichterstattung

• Unterstützung bei der Vorbereitung von internen und externen Prüfungen

Zu den wesentlichen Anforderungen der Stelle gehören:

• Eine abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung mit buchhalterischem Grundverständnis und/oder mehrjährige Erfahrung im Finanzwesen

• Proaktive und strukturierte Arbeitsweise

• Gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse, insbesondere Excel

• Kommunikationsstärke, sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

• Für Monatsabschluss-Arbeiten erwarten wir vom Kandidaten, dass er flexibel und teamorientiert ist, um die Aufgaben innerhalb der vorgegebenen Fristen zu erledigen

As an Accountant (m/f/d) in our EMEA Finance department (consisting of 20 finance talents), you will be responsible for all relevant accounting activities (General Ledger, Accounts Receivables & Payables). You will report directly to the Financial Controller. You will be located in Limburg. Hybrid work is possible as well.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• General ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Posting of incoming intercompany invoices

• Reconciliation of intercompany accounts

• Perform month-end close procedures including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and completeness

• Responsible for adherence to compliance standards

• Support in the preparation of monthly financial statements and other relevant financial reporting

• Support in the preparation of internal and external audits

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A degree in business administration with major electives in finance/accounting or equivalent and/or several years of experience in finance

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, while being able to contribute to team efforts as needed

• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel

• Very good knowledge of English and German

• During month end closing we expect the candidate to be flexible and team focused to get the job done
