Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial)
Position type: Full time, hourly
Pay range: $21-25 per hour
Location: Lakelands, 7520 E Main St, Lima, NY
Hours: Day shift
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? We're on the lookout for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining our production machinery & facilities.
Responsibilities: -Performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during preventive service. -Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. -Performs maintenance & repair duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting of production machines. -Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. -Building maintenance duties as assigned including lighting fixture maintenance. -Comply with OSHA safety and health rules. -Daily clean-up of work area. -Maintenance mechanics also support the building of metal and wood forms as needed. -All other duties as assigned
Required experience: -2+ years of related maintenance experience in a production facility. -HS Diploma or GED
Preferred skills & Experience: -A.S in Industrial Maintenance, other relevant degree program OR related trade school program/certification.
