Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production targets are met. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for managing a team of production workers and ensuring that quality standards are maintained.
Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers - Set production goals and targets, and monitor progress towards achieving them - Ensure that production schedules are followed and deadlines are met - Train and develop production staff to improve their skills and performance - Monitor product quality to ensure it meets company standards - Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any production-related issues - Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred - Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment - Proficient in using computer software for data entry and reporting purposes - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines - Forklift certification is a plus
