Job Description

  • Receive documents - Manage freight receipt - Prepare, route, process and monitor shipments.

  • Organize the collection and/or delivery of goods.

  • Prepare and issue transport documents.

  • Ensure timely processing of ocean shipments.

  • Monitor and update records in our operational system.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, the Expeditors network, and carriers.

  • Adhere to Expeditors' standard KPIs.

  • Understand and comply with all relevant regulations, compliance standards, and Expeditors' specific procedures.

  • Accurately and promptly invoice customer files and ensure timely dispatch of invoices.

  • Provide complete documentation to our customs department.

  • Request quotes from our partner carriers and shipping companies.

  • Create competitive pricing offers for our clients.

Timely and Accurate Shipment Processing: Ensures smooth and timely freight process flow according to Expeditors' operational procedures. Follows customer's standard operating procedures and proactively notifies customers of any issues. Consistently meets KPI standards, as per company's procedures. ·

Timely and Accurate Data Entry: Ensures accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems according to Expeditors' operational procedures and customer requirements. Monitors exception reports for quick data integrity resolution.

Timely and Accurate Billing and Accounting: Invoices customers the expected charges timely and accurately and according to Expeditors and customer requirements. Properly provisions service provider charges to avoid reserves. Follows proper credit approval processes to minimize risk and protect the company.

  • 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • College graduate or above / Minimum of a Bac +2 in Transport, International Trade, or Logistics.

  • Global logistics industry knowledge and understanding of ocean documentation process

  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results

  • Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)

  • Fluent in English

  • Strong listening and attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Team player.

  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills
