Aston Carter Administrative Assistant in Lawrenceville, Virginia

Aston Carter is seeking an Administrative Assistant for one of our manufacturing clients in Lawrenceville, VA to support the Plant Administrator and Manager. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of Administrative experience, including Payroll.

Description: This individual will support the Plant Administrator and Manager with responsibilities such as the below:

  • Assist with payroll, benefits enrollment and act as main POC for pay/HR related questions

  • Maintain documentation and files

  • Order office supplies as needed

  • Act as a liaison between truck drivers regarding fleet vehicles and ensure inspections and maintenance is up to date

  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred

  • Prev. 2 yrs of administrative and payroll experience

  • MUST be a self-starter with a strong initiative, who can jump right into things and learn quickly

  • Ability to communicate with a diverse group of individuals
