Location: This position is hybrid, based in Laurel, Maryland Role: Delmock Technologies, Inc. is looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in securing our clients' digital infrastructure. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing robust data security measures, continuously monitoring network activity, and identifying potential security risks to protect systems, applications, and sensitive data. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations, including PII, PCI, and PHI. Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert on endpoint and network security technologies, providing expertise in threat intelligence, security operations, and their Security Education and Awareness Training program. Key responsibilities include: Implementing security protocols and best practices to safeguard client systems and data. Monitoring network traffic for potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Conducting regular security assessments and risk evaluations to mitigate potential security breaches. Supporting compliance efforts related to industry-specific regulations (e.g., PII, PCI, PHI). Serving as a key resource on endpoint and network security hardware/software solutions. Contributing to the development and delivery of security awareness and training initiatives to internal teams. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related scientific or technical field. Four (4) years of relevant experience. Experience in security systems, technology, endpoint and vulnerability tools. Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of risk management, information security technology, OSI model and defense for each layer, threat vectors, analysis and vulnerability management. Knowledge of current industry threats and security ecosystem. Experience with network administration. Experience with Linux and Windows. Analytical and technical skills. Skilled in complex problem solving and critical thinking, and the use of a computer and applicable software. Hands-on experience in security tools such as Varonis, Mimecast, Sentinel One, Secret Server, Darktrace, and Absolute. At least four (4) years of specialized experience in defining computer security requirements for high-level applications, evaluating approved security product capabilities, and developing solutions to mid-level security problems. Hands-on experience in security tools such as Varonis, Mimecast, Sentinel One, Secret Server, Darktrace, and Absolute. Experience in the evaluation, monitoring, and assurance of compliance with information technology security policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Experienced in Cloud-based knowledge management technologies and concepts related to security. Experienced in Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data security standards. Experienced in Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security standards. Experienced in Personal Health Information (PHI) data security standards. Experienced in use cases related to collaboration and content synchronization across platforms (e.g., endpoint, Wireless, Mobile, Servers, SaaS, Cloud). governance, procurement, and administration. Experience in report generation for detecting PII/sensitive information, develop PPT slides for communicating technology such as Sysmon64, Microsoft LAPS, IAM, and other security. Ability to multi-task and adopt new technology knowledge for running reports and monitoring risk; this includes submitting service request tickets for problem resolution, security tool health checks, etc. Preferred: CISA, CISSP, CEH, or Risk Management Certification. Clearance: The ability to pass a background check is required.
