Clinical Service Assistant

Location:

This position is primarily a remote role.

Candidates must live within 50 miles of a New York location.

Schedule: Monday - Friday EST - 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Responsible for providing non-clinical administrative support to clinical associates, and clinical care managers within the plan.

How you will make an impact:

  • Will be receiving live call inquires from Providers and Members for prior authorization for care (call que)

  • Supports systems, workflow, and reporting-related requirements of the unit.

  • Communicates internally with, various departments within the organization.

  • Runs ad-hoc reports.

  • Works with referral services associates to ensure seamless processes.

  • Provides administrative support including triage calls, monitoring group email/voice mail boxes, and processing internal referrals.

  • Enters manual data as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year experience in a business or health care setting; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in a related field and prior experience in a healthcare or managed care environment preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $18.02 - $27.02.
