Job Responsibilities

As the Executive Chef at China Mama, you will play a pivotal role in steering the culinary direction and ensuring the highest standards of excellence. Your responsibilities will encompass::

  • Overseeing the entire back-of-house operations, from menu development to execution, upholding our culinary reputation.
  • Hiring, training, and skillfully managing the kitchen staff, cultivating a cohesive and motivated team.
  • Developing and implementing staffing schedules to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Leading pre-shift meetings to align the team with daily goals and maintain a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Crafting innovative recipes and menus that showcase the richness of authentic Chinese flavors while catering to diverse tastes.
  • Orchestrating plating and presentation plans to elevate each dish into an artistic and memorable masterpiece.
  • Taking charge of food ordering and evaluating the quality of new ingredients to guarantee exceptional standards.
  • Ensuring the kitchen is fully stocked with essential supplies to enable seamless service.
