Job Title: Classification Analyst 1
Job Description
We are seeking a Classification Analyst to support a manufacturing client in Laredo. The primary duties include assigning Tariff Classification to our products for over 10 countries, delivering a minimum daily average of 35 classifications on a monthly basis, and maintaining a 95% classification accuracy quarterly. The role involves transactional review to identify areas of risk, managing core trade compliance data, maintaining Customs record-keeping requirements, drafting responses to Customs inquiries, and preparing analysis for Customs legal reviews. You will also support communication between the client and Customs officials and validate tariff classifications by analyzing blueprints and specifications.
