TEC Group Inc Maintenance Technician in Lansing, Michigan
Shift: 2pm-10pm M-F with some Saturdays.
Experience with robotics and PLC is required.
Job Description Job Summary: • Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, robots, conveyor systems, production machines and other equipment. • Troubleshoot electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, running electrical conduit, and read electrical prints. • Perform equipment installation, PMs, and complete assigned projects.
Job Responsibilities: • Maintaining & supporting all equipment in JIT Production Environment and other areas as required. • Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM's as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner. • Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs. • Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met. • Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating LiftRequired Skills Required Skills/Abilities: Experience with Robotics and PLC are a priority. • Strong presentation skills, detail oriented, adaptability towards change, and teamwork.
Required Education Education Required: • High school diploma or equivalent, certification (Preferred)
Required Years of Experience Experience Required: • Journeyman's Card -OR - 3-5 yrs of experience of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant. Experience in industrial automotive preferred.
