Summit Service Solutions Carpenter in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

The installer will install cabinets, fixtures along with other finish carpentry trim, for commercial settings. The installer works in two-person teams or individually to complete installations and works closely with product management teams to create the best construction methods for installation.

Salary: $21 to $28 per hour depending on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

· Install cabinets, shelves, countertops, trim, and displays.

· Installation of millwork including panel work, running and standing trim, doors and hardware.

 

· Read blueprints and shop drawings, gather materials, load trucks for delivery to job site, unload trucks at the jo site.

· Obtain customer approval by being professional and resolving questions during installation.

· Maintain accurate records of installation and take photographs to demonstrate progress and completion of installations.

· Follow proper safety standards while using power tools and equipment.

· Work closely with project management and production teams to provide and receive input on the best construction/installation methods.

· Assist production teams in shop when not on site.

· Maintain work vehicles and keep inventory of tools, order, and stock.

· Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work site.

· Selecting the appropriate materials, hardware, and tools for each task.

· Planning an effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time.
