Lancaster, NY. Try-It Distributing, Inc. Warehouse Associate. FT/PT. Benefits. $19.00/Hour.
Summary: A Warehouse Associate position works in all areas of warehousing, specifically receiving loads, replenishing pick line, inventory counting, product order selection, coupling and relocating of trailers, and loading and unloading of product.
Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation):
Employee, after proper training, must be proficient at operating electric forklifts and pallet jacks.
Safe and careful handling of product to minimize breakage.
Safely and efficiently operate all assigned equipment.
Ensuring proper rotation of product and maintaining the integrity of the automated Warehouse Management System.
Receiving, storing, and shipping of product according to company and supplier standards.
Accurately and efficiently select orders for delivery.
Constructing pallets of various products that may weigh between 30-50 lbs.

Participate and cooperate fully in any assigned training, development, and/or group activities that management may choose to assign.
Other warehouse duties may be assigned.
Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma and one to two years related warehousing and forklift experience and/or training recommended. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software and be able to learn and use assigned company equipment.
