This is a great time to join Harrison Western! We are building crews of Miner's to perform work at various jobsites throughout the United States including Colorado and New Mexico. Miners work under the directions of other mine personnel performing physical activities in support of completing mine development, construction, maintenance, remediation and site closure.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include: Follows project instructions from Lead Miner or superintendent Ensures regulated and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn Follows all health and safety policy and regulations including company policies, OSHA and MSHA Cleans and clears debris and hazardous materials Operates multiple pieces of powered and non-powered mining equipment such as rock drills, muckers, forklifts, bolters, loaders, haulers, scalers etc. to complete daily tasks Assists in the mucking cycle (removal of broken rock) Cleans, adjusts and maintains equipment using hand tools as needed Prepares site material, set up equipment and general job site organization Performs pre-blasting and post-blasting functions Installs roof and rib support as required Installation of concrete formwork and concrete placement Remove and install pipelines, compressed airlines, communication lines

Skills and Specifications: Ability to take direction form supervision Ability to travel extensively throughout the nation Recognize hazards and safety risks Familiar with equipment and tools required for the position Ability to lift 50 lbs. Work in a standing, seated, or other physical positions Diversified experience preferred Prior mining experience preferred Valid driver's license Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check Ability to obtain ATF possessor preferred

Compensation and Benefits: Up to $40/hr based on applicable experience and job location Eligible for Per Diem Rotations may include 2 weeks on/2 weeks off 2 Medical plans to choose from Vision and Dental 7 paid holidays 401k with Company match
