Honor Bar Attendant (Part Time)
SUMMARY
The Honor Bar Attendant position will assist the Food & Beverage leadership team in providing exceptional experiences to our guests. The focus of the role will be to inventory all guest mini-bars on a daily basis and post proper charges to correct guest rooms prior to guest’s departure. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties include; although are not limited to:
Inspecting all equipment and ensuring it is in proper working condition
Maintaining a fully stocked inventory of all mini-bar items; ordering the necessary product items when par levels are low
Ensure no expired items are in guest rooms and record upcoming expirations appropriately
Ensuring In-Room Dining areas are cleaned and organized at all times; gathering all equipment necessary to service the guests; maintaining all equipment and keeping it polished
Ensuring that all spill or hazardous areas are cleared immediately to ensure a safe environment; assisting in removing guest tables and trays from guest rooms.
Cleaning and defrosting mini-bars regularly and consistently
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous Food & Beverage customer service experience required
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Current Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain Food Handlers permit
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs., including, but not limited to, lifting trays of food or food items on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
The pay scale for this position is $17.00.
The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position. Please let us know if you have any questions.
