Adecco is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join the team of a leading Manufacturer in Lafayette, IN for a Production Scheduler. As a Production Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective scheduling of production activities. You will work closely with various departments to forecast, plan, and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize inventory levels.

Hourly Rate: $25-28 based off of experience

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and inventory levels

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods

• Utilize supply chain management principles to optimize production efficiency and minimize costs

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production scheduling, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and lead times

• Implement and maintain MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to facilitate accurate demand forecasting and inventory control

• Identify potential bottlenecks or capacity constraints in the production process and propose solutions to mitigate risks

• Continuously improve production scheduling processes through the application of Lean manufacturing principles `

Experience

• Proven experience in production scheduling or related roles within a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices

• Familiarity with MRP systems and inventory control methods

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

• Proficiency in using scheduling software or tools. SAP strongly preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
