Sales & Marketing Director

Ready to spread the word about our exceptional guest experiences? We’re searching for a Sales & Marketing Director with the strategic nous to help us beat our room night sales goals. Night after night.

Daily business:

  • You develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for your colleagues – recognize good performance

  • You will train your colleagues to ensure they meet the hotel´s revenue targets to the standards expected and that they have the necessary tools to be effective

  • You foster a work environment where teams can thrive – connect departments to create engaging team spirit

  • Achieve all personal and team sales goals and maximize profitability

  • You are responsible for the accurate and professional contract management of all corporate contracts and bookings

  • Assist in the preparation of departmental budget and financial plans, including the hotel marketing plan

  • Create and implement sales plans that drive measurable increases in occupancy, average prices, volume, food and beverage, and C&B revenue

  • Create and implement marketing plans that measurable increase in revenue and uplift the hotel positioning through the marketing activities

  • Prepare monthly reports and revenue forecasts to analyse current/potential market and revenue trends, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share, and monitor performance to ensure actual revenue meets or exceeds established revenue plan

  • Review monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyse current / potential market and sales trends

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with key customers and external contacts to increase sales

  • You build strong partnerships and collaborations with local and global organizations

Your profile:

  • Passion to lead all Sales & Marketing related efforts

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Preferred Marketing related degree, or applicable experience

  • Four or more years of sales and marketing experience in hospitality or hotel industry with direct leadership experience

  • Strong knowledge of local economy and business trends required

  • Fluency in spoken and written Japanese, business level of English language skill are required, and other languages skills are preferred
