Job Description

The Selection and Assessment Sr. Specialist is responsible for managing talent assessment and selection through consultation and project leadership in talent development, assessment solutions, technology implementation, interview design, job analysis, validation analyses, competency modeling and legal compliance of selection practices.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced analytics to analyze assessment data and provide actionable insights for improving the selection process.

  • Continuously monitor the effectiveness of selection tools and processes.

  • Analyze and validate assessments to improve their effectiveness at predicting job success

  • Ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to selection and assessment.

  • Identifies and manages assessment vendors.

  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to define job requirements, and selection criteria for roles across our enterprise.

  • Provides consultation, training and guidance to HR and hiring managers across the organization on the implementation of selection tools and procedures.

  • Develops and maintains interview guides and an item bank for use across the enterprise.

  • Creates, updates, evaluates and manages assessment centers.

  • Proctors computer-based and/or in-person assessment sessions.

  • Ensures safe, consistent test environments for all job candidates.

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of selection processes and trends.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in a selection or related role

  • Experience using statistical programming languages such as Python, R, or SPSS

  • Experience in measurement and statistics, test construction, and test validation

  • Maintain high levels of ethical and professional conduct and confidentiality

  • Maintain a strong customer service orientation

  • Work on many simultaneous assignments with close attention to detail and with attention to schedules and deadlines

  • Strong communication skills- ability to present information effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Minimal travel may be required
