salary: $65,000 - $72,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 4:30 PM (rotating schedule 1st & 3rd shift)
education: Bachelors in engineering
Responsibilities
Establish and implement quality standards, Monitor workflows, processes,test methodology, and products, Create quality documentation, Collaborate with operations managers to identify opportunities for improvements to workflow and controls, to ensure they comply with health and safety codes and regulations, Review systems and processes to develop continued improvements and efficiencies, Inspect and test processes and products to ensure they meet or exceed standards Analyze manufacturing data and reports
Lead and support projects involving cost reduction, process optimization, and new products/processes
Develop, execute and analyze quality-reporting measures
Report to management on quality issues, trends and losses
Audit suppliers and establish supplier quality requirements
Participate in internal and external quality audits
Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective action is implemented
Compile, write and deliver training material on quality standards and activities
Must have a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Must have a minimal 2 years work experience, Must be able to work a rotating schedule on 1st & 3rd
