Position Summary We are looking for a candidate with a solid base of accounting skills, including working with SAP general ledger. As a member of the General Accounting group, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including preparation of GL account reconciliations and journal entries, capital projects invoice processing, and performance metrics reporting. This position will provide the ideal candidate the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to general ledger accounting and accounts payable processing. The right candidate will report to the General Accounting Manager and assist in identifying and implementing process improvements. This position requires a team player with a high attention to detail and excellent customer service skills, If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to join our team Job Functions / Responsibilities Ownership of monthly close duties including preparing and posting journal entries and GL account reconciliations Prepare monthly account reconciliations including cash file, intercompany, and accounts payable related recons Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering team to coordinate capital expenditures for multi-million-dollar projects and ensure appropriate approvals are in place and coding is correct Assist accounts payable with GRIR maintenance, processing debit and credit memos, review processed invoices for accuracy, performance metric reporting, and other items as required Update authorization matrix, bank matrix, and org charts Prepare monthly senior management reports SOX/ICAP audits as assigned Assist in external and internal audits Complete quarterly RFI reporting and consolidation of quarterly RFIs Quarterly validation testing of Concur and SAP users against the authority matrix Analytical and ad hoc projects as assigned Identify areas for process improvement Qualifications & Skill Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 1-3 years of relevant experience in general accounting and AP processes. Highly motivated, self-starting individual with a willingness to work in a dynamic environment with time constraints. Detail-oriented and the ability to handle multiple tasks within deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Must be experienced with Microsoft Office tools, specifically but not limited to Access, Excel, and Word. CP
