GoDaddy.com, LLC Engineer - Software Development III in Kirkland, Washington
Duties: The Engineer - Software Development III at GoDaddy.com, LLC in Kirkland, WA will lead the design and development of new application-level features. Debug complex, production-level issues. Perform a proficient and vital role in the code review process for other engineers. Independently identify system performance issues and initiate fixes. Initiate innovative experiments to discover new solutions or improvements to existing systems. Facilitate pair programming sessions within the team. Address customer problems within own are of responsibility. Coordinate and perform software installations. Contribute to internal open source or technology working groups. Implement and advocate for testing automation strategies to enhance code quality and efficiency. Develop best practices and guidelines for specific technology platforms and tools. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software features. Provide mentorship to junior developers. Perform database functions such as store procedures, table design, and efficient queries. Participate in Data Modeling. Drive improvements in Scrum and Agile ceremonies. Plan and manage sprint cycles and project timelines. Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per week. GoDaddy's compensation may vary based on an individual's qualifications at the time of the offer. The annual base salary range is $128,502-$150,000 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science and Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 1 year of experience as a software developer or related occupation. Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of experience as a software developer or related occupation. Must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: REST APIs, Agile, automated testing framework, MS SQL, performance tuning, Java, Python, RDBMS, relational databases, shell scripting, SQL, SQL queries, Unix and Jenkins.
