Lockheed Martin Aegis Training Project Engineer and Operations Planner-FMS in King George, Virginia

Description: This is an opportunity to help shape the future of emerging programs. The position will provide direct support to the Aegis International Training Program Manager for the execution of acquisition and modernization training plans. Translate these requirements into organizational plans which includes the development of statements of work (SOW), integrated master plans (IMP), risk assessments, schedules, coordinates export/import activities related to execution of the training plan. The candidate will have a high level overview of the program and will proactively address conflicts of schedule, new initiatives, and plan execution. The candidate must interface with a multi-discipline team, program managers, external USG customers, foreign partners and subcontractors.

-Develop Front End Analysis for training, training gap analysis, Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA), and recommendations required to support training program development and execution.

-Provide technical and administrative support services for the analysis of training curriculum, courseware and training systems.

-Prepare and deliver reports, studies, briefings or point papers containing findings, results, and recommendations for achieving training objectives.

-Provide technical liaison between OEM product development teams and internal and external customers.

-Individual will support technical meetings, develop and present specialized briefs, report analysis and findings, and adjudicate all stakeholder comments.

-Domestic and International travel required.

-US Citizenship is required.

-Primary work location will be King George VA or Moorestown, NJ.

Basic Qualifications:

Three (3) years of experience in life cycle or program support with emphasis in scheduling, program projections and training curriculum coordination.

Eight (8) years Surface Combat System training experience in operations or maintenance including Surface Warfare engineering and process knowledge, training plan development, and technical writing/editing.

Specialized experience related to Aegis training systems and methodology, systems, subsystems, capabilities & limitations, organizations, challenges and risk drivers.

Demonstrated ability to build and present training program briefings and content for senior U.S. and FMS Navy officials.

Experience directly related to the employment of the Aegis Combat System, IAMD tactical and technical application, mission planning, and training systems.

US Citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

Desired Skills:

-Aegis Operational Experience preferred

-Ability to discuss technical and operational concepts related to the Aegis Weapon System (AWS)

-Experience with curriculum development including AIM I, AIM II, or Content Planning Module/Learning Object Module (CPM/LOM) IAW NAVEDTRA 130B and 131B

-Familiarization with Microsoft Office (Power Point and Excel)

-Master Training Specialist (MTS)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
