Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will ensure plant production equipment continues to operate safely and efficiently by utilizing skills to reduce unwanted downtime. The candidate must be able to analyze and troubleshoot electrical, automation, mechanical, and operational problems on all equipment. Responsibilities include managing personnel, equipment, and troubleshooting various systems such as mechanical, electrical, PLC, boilers, waste water systems, and 4/20 mA feedback loop systems. The role primarily requires strong electrical skills. The technician will often work on building plumbing and HVAC basics before outsourcing. The position requires flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and changing days off. Graveyard shift hours are 22:30-06:30, and day shift hours are 06:00-14:30, with potential changes from a 4/10 schedule.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Kent, Washington.
Work Environment
The work environment is a food production facility maintained at 34 degrees with water on the ground and varying room temperatures including steam, warmth, and freezing conditions. The candidate must be comfortable working in a very cold and wet environment that is busy with lots of people. Full GMP PPE including coats, nets, gloves, shoe covers, and non-slip footwear are required.
