Job Overview: As part of this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining grounds and performing landscaping tasks. This includes using power equipment to cut and trim grass, clear debris, and handle other related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use a power mower and trimmer for grass cutting
• Clear lawn debris with power and hand rakes
• Pick up litter from lawns and flower beds
• Plant flowers and shrubs, and remove small trees
• Trim hedges and bushes using manual and power tools
• Safely handle equipment, and apply lawn care chemicals as needed
• Follow agency policies, maintain confidentiality, and build positive relationships with colleagues
• Attend meetings, committees, and training sessions
• Perform other assigned duties

Minimum Qualifications:

• Safe use of power equipment and landscaping tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Effective communication skills
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum age of 18

Physical Demands: This job involves significant physical work, including heavy lifting and outdoor activities.

Working Conditions: Work is carried out in facilities with landscaping contracts, with exposure to various environmental elements. Basic safety precautions are required.
