Kelly Services Instrumentation Technician in Juncos, Puerto Rico

Kelly® Engineering is seeking Instrumentation Technician for a 10 month contract position at a Global Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology client in Juncos, Puerto Rico. Salary: $20.00 per/hour

Overview

This client is Global Biopharmaceutical company whose mission is to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases.

In this role you’ll be responsible to support manufacturing and maintenance activities related to Master Production Schedule. In addition, will support the new product introduction, execution of calibration PM, repair activities and troubleshooting equipment and system.

Schedule: 12 hours shift

Responsibilities:

  • Performing/providing calibration, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and documentation of instruments, process control systems, and equipment used in manufacturing, utility plants, and analytical labs.

  • Perform basic calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.

  • Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.

  • Participate in a detailed training program in order to develop one's knowledge in the instrumentation field and other areas of the plant.

  • Assist in the development, revision, and updating of related SOPs for work related areas.

  • Configure and repair microprocessor based instruments and controllers.

  • Basic troubleshooting and repair of process control and laboratory instruments.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree and 2 years of instrument experience OR High school diploma/GED and 4 years of instrument experience.

  • Knowledgeable of pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic instrumentation.

  • Has received training or hands on experience in such specialized subjects as analog and/or digital electronics, microprocessors and/or computers, and the operation and maintenance of particular lines of field instrumentation
