Eaton Corporation Value Stream Manager in Juarez, Mexico

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager.

What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Lead all production activities for the Commercial Distribution Products facility, located in Juarez, Mexico. Interface closely with all manufacturing support functions, including Manufacturing Engineering, Customer Service, Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, Quality and Design Engineering.

2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Define, track, and report key business measures related to the product line.

• Manage and direct all production activities.

• Prepare short term and long term business plans that drive for a focus on customer satisfaction.

• Participate in the development of the Plant Strategic Alignment.

• Actively support the marketing/sales and product development plans for Juarez CRDS.

• Actively promote the development and deployment of improved manufacturing process that positively impact quality, productivity, profitability, and market share.

• Assure that the Production Line embraces the Eaton Business System (EBS). Lead Juarez CRDS through continuous improvement, to drive higher levels of performance with the Eaton Quality System (EQS) and the Eaton Lean Six-Sigma (ELSS) business tools.

• Provide a safe working environment for all employees and facilitate MESH initiatives.

• Actively sponsor and support all lean deployment activities

• Actively lead and direct functional department liaison personnel to optimize results in his/her area following operational direction.

Qualifications:

• Must have a thorough understanding of world class manufacturing techniques and US and Mexican business practices and customs.

• Must have an overall understanding of the technical capabilities and characteristics of the Juarez CDP products.

• Must have a BS degree in Engineering or Business

• At least 5 years’ experience in a closely related industry.
