Parsons Corporation BIM Manager in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager to lead the implementation of BIM processes and technologies for a large-scale projects. The BIM Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the BIM strategy, standards, and workflows, providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams, and delivering high-quality BIM services to our client.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BIM management, infrastructure projects, and consulting services, with a passion for innovation and leveraging technology to optimize project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Development and implementation of the BIM strategy, standards, and workflows for the large-scale project, in collaboration with project stakeholders and client requirements.

  • Lead the development and maintenance of BIM models, including 3D models, 4D construction sequencing, 5D cost estimation, and clash detection, to support project design, construction, and operations.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, on BIM implementation, best practices, and software applications.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including client representatives, project managers, and design teams, to define BIM requirements, deliverables, and project milestones.

  • Manage the implementation and integration of BIM software tools and technologies, including Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360, to optimize project collaboration, coordination, and efficiency.

  • Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings, clash detection analysis, and model reviews to identify and resolve design conflicts, coordination issues, and constructability challenges.

  • Develop and maintain BIM documentation, including BIM execution plans, protocols, and standards, to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

  • Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software applications, workflows, and best practices, to enhance their BIM capabilities and ensure effective utilization of BIM technology.

  • Monitor and assess the performance and quality of BIM deliverables, including model accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with project requirements, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in BIM management, infrastructure projects, and consulting services, with a focus on large-scale projects.

  • Expertise in BIM software applications, including Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360, with proficiency in 3D modeling, clash detection, and coordination.

  • Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols, including BIM Level 2 and industry-specific standards such as PAS 1192, ISO 19650, and AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) BIM standards.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing BIM processes and technologies on infrastructure projects, from concept through design, construction, and operations.

  • Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans, protocols, and standards, and managing BIM deliverables and workflows in compliance with project requirements.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design conflicts, coordination issues, and constructability challenges using BIM technology.

  • Certification in BIM management (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional: Revit for Architectural Design, Navisworks Manage) preferred.
