MERCY HEALTH CORPORATION Pharmacy Technician in JANESVILLE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Greets customers in a professional manner. Assists pharmacist (under direct supervision) with filling new and refill prescriptions. Processes and enters patient demographic and insurance information into the computer system accurately. Answers and forwards phone messages properly. Restocks inventory and provides general maintenance of stock area (including cleaning/dusting shelves, monitoring dates on inventory). Delivers to customers with proper payment collections. Accurately prepares daily bank deposit. Performs other duties as assigned under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive and store Pharmacy inventory and supplies. Pharmacy software knowledge to be able to process most new and refill prescription orders. Prepare prescription to be checked by Pharmacist through retrieving products from inventory, counting out correct volumes, and applying labels according to supervising Pharmacist\' instructions. Thorough knowledge of Point of Sale cash registers resulting in accurate end-of-day balancing. Cleans equipment, shelves, countertops, sinks and anything else to maintain a clean working environment.
