Case Manager Stabilization, Support and Home Advantage Collaborative Position Summary: FamilyAid is Greater Boston\'s leading provider of solutions to family homelessness. Its mission is to empower parents and caregivers facing homelessness to secure and sustain housing and build strong foundations for their children\'s futures. The hundred-plus year-old agency has launched bold new strategies to reduce two-generation homelessness by dramatically increasing its prevention, housing, and supportive services for children and parents, putting the organization on a fast-growth trajectory. General Responsibilities: To support these strategies, the agency seeks a dynamic and driven Bilingual (Spanish) Case Manager Stabilization, Support and Home Advantage Collaborative. As part of HAC, the Case Manager will provide stabilization case management, incorporating 2-generation services to formerly homeless families. Will engage with families identified through shelter programs and will provide stabilization case management, incorporating 2-generation services to formerly homeless families. This position will be instrumental in the collection of data to assess the longitudinal impact and effectiveness of all programs. Demonstrated commitment and success in working with complex families, and utilization of trauma-informed care practices, critical time intervention and motivational interviewing and a commitment to address multigenerational homelessness are essential. Qualifications & Requirements: The successful candidate will have a bachelor\'s degree, BSW degree is preferred, with experience in social services. Bilingual (Spanish/Haitian Creole) preferred. MSW degree a plus. Demonstrated success in applying evidence-based practices including Trauma-Informed Care, critical time intervention and motivational interviewing. Professional experience with housing, schools, and hospital settings highly desired. Ability to work in both office and field-based settings with a diverse, homeless population. Flexibility and compassion essential. FamilyAid?s headquarters is located at 3815 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02130. Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM-5 PM, 40 hours/week. Some evening availability is required, with the flexibility to best meet client and program needs.
