The Senior Application Technologist is responsible for supporting business strategy in Sweet Goods & Beverage segments, by becoming a reliable technical partner to offer valuable solutions and result in winning projects . This function will be reporting to Application Senior Manager who is based in Jakarta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulates application base, selects & applies flavors to create winning prototypes

• Collaboration with internal stakeholders (mainly flavorist & commercial team) to answer customers’ needs.

• Become technical experts in front of internal & external customers.

• Supports clients during product development process and presents dsm-firmenich technologies

• Maintains and applies good laboratory practice

  You bring:

• Bachelor degree in Food Science or Food Technology from an accredited university required

• A minimum of 5 years experience in sweet category, mainly in Dairy & Beverage Application / Product Development

• Good & relevant technical skills & industrial knowledge related to dairy & beverage products, which includes formulation, food processing, ingredients/raw materials knowledge.

• Excellent analytical & creative thinking in solving technical issues

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Skilled at working in a fast - paced environment open to constant change in demands

• Self-directed individual with a Can-Do attitude and the ability to work within a team

• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
