Description

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Network Engineer in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data communications and telecommunication networks. Your contributions will be vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our network systems, which are essential to our ongoing success.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze network systems to provide solutions for optimal efficiency.

• Supervise the installation of communication circuits, including CAT6 and fiber.

• Oversee the configuration, installation, administration, and testing of network devices, operating system software, and related hardware.

• Participate in hardware/software analyses to assess performance and suitability within our existing systems.

• Conduct facility surveys for network communications and provide recommendations for the layout and location of network components and wiring.

• Operate and maintain Cisco Nexus data center routing and switching.

• Troubleshoot and administer VoIP telephony systems.

• Administer and configure Cisco wireless networks.

• Support and troubleshoot VeloCloud SD-WAN and cloud-based VoIP.

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, DNS, and DHCP.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Cisco is required

• Experience with Cisco Routers is necessary

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is a key requirement

• Strong background in Cisco Networking is essential

• Familiarity with Cisco Switches is needed
