Community Health Systems Patient Transporter-Radiology-FT in JACKSON, Mississippi

Description

Transports patients to and from their inpatient beds and other areas like therapy, surgery or radiology. Other responsibilities include retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. No experience necessary. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Qualifications

Required

  • High School or better

Licenses & Certifications

Required

  • C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac

Experience

Preferred

  • One (1) year direct patient care experience is preferred.
