Cabinet Builder
Essential Functions
- Attention to detail, produce product from derailed blueprints and sketches
- Self Starter, Must be able to work with little supervision
- Communicate with the team members to ensure continuousproduction of the current products of the correct product at a high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Cut out, bend, assemble, glue, cut, and sand all components for assigned jobs
- Monitor manufacturing specifications in blue prints-type documents to ensure that proper materials are used for the job orders and meets company quality standards and job expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used for the job orders using material usage sheets
- CNC experience is a plus
- Complete other duties as assigned
Minimum qualifications
- Ability to work at a fast pace, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement enviroment
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience in a wood working production environment
- Responsible for troubleshooting and rectifying problems that may occur during the process
- Comfortable operating machine tools and pneumatic nail guns and measuring equipment
- Knowledge of materials, hardware and cabinet/fixturedesign methodology
- Ability to work as a team or alone
- Ability to work safely, identify hazards bad follow safety procedures
Experience
- Hands-on experience working with hand power tools and accessories in a manufacturing or woodworking environment or similar
- Experienced working with cabinet shop manufacturing/building custom cabinets or equivalent
- *1+ years hands-on experience in woodworking*
- *1+ years hands-on experience in manufacturing and assembly of custom mill work and/or casework*
- *1+ years hands-on experience with solid surface and wood lamination is a plus*
