Responsibilities

Partner and Industry Insights

· Contributes to the generation of business insights based on data received from the partner and internal teams (e.g., community and ecosystem, Account team) and from growing knowledge of the capability of Microsoft products.

Trusted Advisor

· Acts as the voice of the partner and internal advocate by providing insights, feedback, and challenges from the partner to internal teams (e.g., product groups, engineers).

· Researches partner organizations and assists in identifying technical decision makers (TDMs).

Strategy Formulation

· Assists colleagues in providing analyses of partner needs and developing technology strategy for a particular product.

· Executes technology strategy and/or digital transformation by providing technical expertise during implementation and driving technology adoption. Executes work to support the transformation of partners and their customer's technology capacity, capability, and co-selling across the engagement, under some guidance.

· Assists in the creation of fundamental, technical development plans in alignment with the Partner Business Plans (PBPs)/Partner Account Plans and in collaboration with the Partner Development Manager (PDM). Outlines the digital transformation journey and core wins, under the direction of others.

Demand Generation and Orchestration

· Coordinates with internal teams to ensure sufficient technical resources for demands, from a limited pool of resources, when appropriate.

Differentiated Value Proposition

· Demonstrates how a Microsoft technology or solutions/offers addresses business needs, compared to the partner's overall business goals and objectives.

Education and Thought Leadership

· Uses existing readiness resources and guidance from others to support the development of enablement plans for assigned partners to develop and expand their technical product capabilities.

· Participates in the Microsoft community and stays updated on internal community posts. Develops working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, partner accounts, and digital transformations and their context in the competitive landscape, and leverages knowledge when asked by others.

Ensuring Success

· Orchestrates project steps to toward partner plan and tracks progress toward timelines and milestones, as directed by more senior colleagues.

· Takes responsibility for customer/partner satisfaction for less complex, tactical solutions. Ensures that solutions meet client needs and helps coordinate resources to take action when appropriate.

Solution Development

· Executes standard or routine tasks, as directed by others, to help partners develop innovative solutions using Microsoft technologies, and learns to build solutions into the partner ecosystem to enable partners to sell to end-customers.

Partner Enablement

· Helps assigned partners engage in sales acceleration, technical pre-sales, deployment, and consumption for the practices or solutions they have built capability in. Support enablement plans for customer technology adoption at the national and regional level, as assigned, to help partner monetize with Microsoft.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field
