Citigroup VP - Retail Bank Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citi’s U.S. Consumer Bank (USCB) is undergoing a critical transformation to accelerate digital growth and engagement tapping into both internal customer base and prospects.

USCA Retail bank is looking for a seasoned self-driven digital analytics professional to partner with business on new products and programs for accomplishing strategic goals and beyond. Retail Bank has introduced innovative products since 2019 with great success that has augmented significantly deposit growth. This role necessitates thoughtful evaluation of opportunities and solution building to drive profitable deposit balances through multiple channels through a customer-centric lens. Attracting specialized talent is important for developing next gen analytics so demonstrated functional experience in Digital Data, Tools and Capabilities would be strongly preferred.

This role is to lead the retail bank deepening efforts through marketing outreach programs to grow retail bank deposits with relevant product offers using best in class tools and advanced modelling and segmentation using R, Python in big data environment. The analyst will also mentor and guide the India team.

Responsibilities:

In this role you would be responsible for, but not limited to -

• Lead analytics to deepen customer engagement for the retail bank business through cross sell and upsell relevant product offers using best in class tools and advanced modelling and analytical techniques.

• Drive design and implementation of DOEs for in depth understanding of customer sensitivities to new offer and outreach channels and drive the philosophy of right product at the right time for our customers.

• Drive cross team collaboration across marketing and product and other analytics teams to articulate key business problems and drive the analytical framework to recommend and implement solutions.

• Identify potential markets and market trends to enable agility and drive strategic changes in “how we engage” with our customers.

• In-depth performance tracking of customer engagement programs to drive insights with detailed trend analysis and shift in customer behavioral patterns to highlight key success stories and point any anomalies and recommend strategic changes as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with background in Statistics, Economics, Business, Operations Research or similar discipline. Master's degree preferred.

• 6+ years working experience in any quantitative field; Retail bank experience preferred

• Strong analytical and practical problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of the deposit market, customer life cycle, and P&L.

• Business knowledge of existing customer treatments and impact.

• Strong understanding of optimization, financial forecasting processes, and advanced analytics tools & techniques.

• Strong understanding of database structures with proficiency in R, Python preferred

• Strong project management, analytic thinking, and partnership skills

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
