Job Description

Shift: M-F 5:30p CST- 2:30a CST
Duties include but not limited to:
Manage employee communications and expectations
Manage daily evening meeting to set expectations and coordinate among the locations
Plans, schedules, and manages the inbound and outbound Linehaul Operations for the hub. Analyzes mainline and satellite operations to maximize tractor usage and minimize Linehaul costs
Manages Linehaul schedules and plans to maximize capacity, minimize partial trailer loads and ensure service integrity for specific areas
Ensuring that all operational activities are conducted in compliance with federal, state, local, and concerning safety.
Responsible for time management in creating an environment conducive to effectiveness when it comes to employee’s time keeping, adhere to schedule, setting of priorities, and meeting deadlines.
Manages subordinate supervisors and associates in warehouse and Transportation
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include planning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Coordinating emergency maintenance repairs such as electrical, tires, or any mechanical issues.
