Citigroup Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Research, design, and develop application architecture on web and mobile applications. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Serve as a development lead for projects. Gather and analyze functional requirements and turn them into technical implementation. Analyze, design and develop software applications using Apple Mobile and Web Responsive frameworks, Swift Programming, Nodejs, React js, and JAVA/J2EE by applying architectural patterns including Object Oriented patterns, microservice patterns, and domain driven design to achieve Restful web services and mobile and web applications. Use Java, Springboot, Microservices, Jenkins to design and develop enterprise level microservices that are consumed by mobile and browser applications. Use Pivitol Cloud Foundry, AWS, Bitbucket, Hashi Corp, Rest API, Mongo DB, and Kafka to design and deploy microservices in Pivotal Cloud Foundary. Design and develop table structure in Mongo DB and maintain records. Use JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS3 and NodeJS to add static content in CMS (Content Management System) and integrate with Angular Pages. Perform unit testing using Junit, and Mockito Frameworks. Triage production defects and plan mitigation and deployment plan to provide solutions using Jenkins, RLM and Kubernetes. Design data structures to provide high data accuracy and normalized data store with high availability databases like Oracle DB, mysql, MongoDB and integrate with services. Provide expertise with application development methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and implementation. Review designs to drive continuous improvements for processes, application designs, and application execution. Provide production support and maintain existing or new applications running in production. Organize, maintain, and support applications. Perform and maintain systems during peak and off-peak periods. Document performance test results, integration or end-to-end results, code and library vulnerability and provide results to deployment gating team to provide a smooth production deployment. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent), in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, Senior Computer Programmer, Technical Lead or related position involving developing application architecture on web and mobile applications for the financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 4 years of experience must include: Java/J2EE, Springboot, Microservices, Jenkins; Bitbucket, Rest API, and Kafka; JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS and ReactJS; Junit, Mockito Frameworks; Jenkins, RLM and Kubernetes; NoSQL data bases and relational databases. 1 year of experience must include: Pivitol Cloud Foundry, Hashi Corp, and Mongo DB.
