Citigroup Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve a variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Provide expertise and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. Serve as advisor to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary. Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguard Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Performing code quality reviews, code performance, unit testing, and build processing with External Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Platforms including Jenkins to interact with GIT/BitBucket Repositories; Performing testing utilizing tools including Postman to test new API integration and Swagger IO for validating API requests and responses; Implementing high-volume web and mobile applications and developing Agile Methodology Delivery Process using Jira; Utilizing Jenkins and Splunk to deploy working code and testing in available environments and monitoring logs; Building mainframe RESTful Web Services/API using JSON, SOAP and XML; Utilizing algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, firewall and networking concepts to drive adoption forward; Utilizing full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to design, develop and test high quality software; and Utilizing mainframe tools including MQ, APIs, CICS, and COBOL to develop strategic programs. 40 hrs./wk.
