Insight Global Talent Development Manager in Irvine, California

Job Description

The Talent Development Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of talent programs that improve the retention and engagement of employees, the skills of managers, and effectiveness of teams across the organization. Reporting to the Head of HR, People Development & Operations and as a new position in the company, this role will bring talent development subject matter expertise to the company. The role will have full responsibility for developing and implementing high impact talent development processes and programs. The ideal candidate loves to build, thrives in ambiguity, is flexible and adaptable to change, moves quickly, and can develop strong relationship across all levels of the organization.

Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of their core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.

What you can do:

  • Analyzes engagement survey data and helps the organization create a strategy and action plans to improve engagement

  • Successful track record of designing and implementing end-to-end talent solutions that align with business objectives and add measurable value

  • Assess organization talent and provide guidance on how to retain and develop top talent

  • Implement company's first talent assessment process and start creating approaches to career paths for employees

  • Develop/procure and deliver training to improve manager effectiveness

  • Build, coach and facilitate effective teams through the effective use of tools, team building activities, development activities and supporting the leaders in creating an engaged environment

  • Design and implement a new leader assimilation process (i.e., developing a 100 day plan and conducting leader integration sessions with teams)

  • Provide strategic guidance in the areas of effective performance management and goal setting

  • Develop and execute an approach to manager enablement tools

  • Curate intranet content to support self-service individual development and manager development resources

  • Utilize metrics and analytics to measure the impact of talent development solutions

  • Stay at the forefront of talent development trends, applying best practices to inform strategy and program design

  • May require up to 10% of domestic and international travel

  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field required

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in talent development with proven expertise in building, scaling and refining impactful programs, products, processes, and frameworks

  • Experience working in talent development roles in world class companies as well as start- ups preferred

  • Experience developing and standing up new programs

  • Certifications in programs such as 360 Coach, Franklin Covey, Ken - Blanchard leadership development programs - Strong knowledge of program development steps including needs assessment, program design, delivery, and evaluation; the capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously null
