As a Field Sales Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving our channel strategy for Fox, Bell, Giro, and CamelBak brands for the Cycling Channel in North America. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successful sales management, with a focus on building and nurturing accounts to drive business growth. This role requires a results-oriented individual who can effectively collaborate with business accounts, internal teams, and executive leadership to achieve strategic goals.

This position reports to the VP of Sales & Market Development, North America and allows you the flexibility to work remotely or from our headquarters in Irvine, CA .

As the Sr. Director Field Sales & Market Development for the Cycling Channel, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Channel Strategy in alignment with Revelyst's overall business objectives.

  • Recruit, hire, orient, and lead team of Regional Managers and Field Sales Representatives to maximize sales force effectiveness, optimize account coverage, outperform contact frequency goals, and achieve stretch sales objectives.

  • Creates a winning team culture that inspires direct reports, colleagues, and supporting teams to take personal ownership for achieving sales objectives with enthusiasm and high morale.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing channel accounts, providing necessary support and resources to ensure their success in promoting Revelyst brands and products.

  • Collaborate with accounts to develop multi-year growth forecasts and go-to-market plans, including sales enablement, lead generation, and customer success strategies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, Demand Planning, Dealer Support, and Sales Operations teams to align channel efforts with the overall company strategy.

  • As a data-obsessed leader, co-lead Sales Operations, Sales Planning and Demand Planning resources to provide critical forecasting inputs and market insights to align supply requirements with precision-oriented sales forecast accuracy.

  • Drive accounts engagement through regular communication, training, and marketing initiatives.

  • Conduct competitive market analysis and identify emerging opportunities, trends, and potential areas for channel expansion.

  • Identify and onboard new channel accounts to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.

  • Represent Revelyst at industry events, tradeshows, and account meetings to enhance brand visibility and strengthen account relationships.

  • Drive the adoption and utilization of CRM and Reporting tools to optimize team performance.

  • Closely monitor and manage selling expenses within assigned P&L responsibility.

  • Provide regular reporting and insights to the VP of Sales on channel performance, pipeline development, forecasting and accounts feedback.

You have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales Management in the Cycling/MTB Industry.

  • Proven track record exceeding sales targets and driving account engagement.

  • Strong understanding of the customer experience landscape and its importance in driving business outcomes.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of an organization.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term channel strategies.

  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to take information and translate it into actionable items.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Frequent travel within the assigned region as needed for customer appointments and critical business meetings often hosted in Irvine, CA.
