What is the job about? * *

Peerless Pump Company is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join its Supply Chain Intelligence team. The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible forstrengthening the Supply Chain Intelligence department by increasing its capabilities to obtain, process, analyze and distribute business dataThis position reports directly to the Lead Supply Chain Specialist and will operate on a hybrid schedule 3 days in the Indianapolis, IN facility, with the ability to work remote from home 2 days per week.

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

Your main responsibilities :  

  • Data acquisition and Preparation using variety of tools and resources as SAP, Business Warehouse, Microsoft Excel, etc

  • KPI reporting for supply chain performance indicators.

  • Collaborate with Group Supply Chain ensuring new Group processes are documented and deployed in a way that fits Peerless Pump business model.

  • Utilize BW analysis, Power BI, excel and other data tools to conduct data mining.

  • Produce various supply chain reports.

  • Present improvement opportunities to the Lead Supply Chain Specialist

  • Manage supply chain SAP master data integrity.

  • Works closely with the Supply Chain leaders to ensure full alignment with process analysis and improvements.

  • Act as a back-up for Lead Supply Chain Specialist

  • Participate in the creation of data and analytics strategies to capture new and evolving opportunities for our internal customers

Your background

We imagine that you have: 

A bachelors degree preferred and 1-2 years’ experience in the field of supply chain data management or IT data management.

  • Power BI required

  • Data Crunching experience required

  • Business warehouse programming preferred

  • Understanding of Supply Chain process principles

  • Experience with MRP, SAP ERP environment preferred

  • Analytical thinking with proven ability to analyze complex data structures and derive insights

  • Comprehensive computer skills (Excel, Power BI, Sharepoint etc.)

  • Aptitude for solving data-related challenges and optimizing workflows.

  • Great collaborating skills with a strong will to create customer satisfaction.

  • Familiarity with application development tools and processes

  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing and data storage tools
