Job Description:

Internship Overview:

The Human Resources: Talent Management Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment and talent acquisition efforts of the HR department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of HR, with a focus on coordinating career fairs and events, conducting cost analysis, performing essential recruiting administrative tasks and liaising with the Inclusion & Diversity department to achieve select initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Career Fair and Event Management:

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive calendar of career fairs, networking events, recruitment, and I&D activities.

  • Coordinate logistics for company participation in career events, including booth setup, materials preparation, and staffing.

Cost Analysis:

  • Conduct cost analysis for attending career fairs and events, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints.

  • Prepare detailed reports outlining the financial implications of different recruiting strategies and initiatives.

Recruiting Administration:

  • Assist in the management of job postings on various platforms.

  • Schedule and coordinate hourly production interviews, ensuring a detailed and positive candidate experience.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Workday, the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Support background check and reference check processes.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the Recruiting Process Outsource (RPO) team, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Inclusion & Diversity department to align recruitment needs and priorities.

  • Communicate effectively with external event organizers, vendors, and candidates.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Find opportunities for process improvement and contribute innovative ideas to improve the efficiency of recruiting activities.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and standard methodologies in talent acquisition.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and social skills.

  • Diligent with a focus on accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Interest in human resources, talent acquisition, and event planning.
