POSITION: LAK Facility Services Director (Unclassified)
LOCATION: Lallie Kemp Medical Center, Independence, Louisiana
DEPARTMENT: Facility Management
Description: The LAK Facility Services Director is an administrative level position that directs the activities of the Facility Services Division. The Facility Services Division includes Maintenance and Engineering, Security, Housekeeping, and Bio-Medical. Regular attendance and on-call is required to perform the essential duties of this position.
Minimum Qualifications Requirements: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of supervisory level experience in the maintenance of a health care facility or a major physical. 2 years of supervisory level experience must include at least 2 individual departments such as Maintenance, Engineering, Security, Housekeeping, Food Service, and Bio Medical.
Substitutions: 8 years of journey level experience may substitute for the degree requirement only.
Preferred Qualifications: Applied work experience in the areas of cost control, scheduling and management.
