Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Oracle Application Labs influences the direction and strategy for Oracle’s products through collaborative and often pioneering involvement in business applications.

The Incentive Compensation New Initiatives team within OAL is responsible for the design, development and implementation of next generation of solutions for Incentive Compensation business team. These applications and solutions are critical to Oracle as they are used to drive the Sales Compensation for Sales organization.Desired Industry Experience:

Overall experience of at least 5 to 8 years in enterprise application development using Java, hibernate, JUnit, JPA, Spring, maven, git Experience with Microservices architecture is a plus Extensive experience in test driven development Familiarity with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms Strong grasp of Java concurrency / multi-threading Experience with working with distributed systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Education and Certification:The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
