Oracle QA Analyst 2-ProdDev in HYDERABAD, India

Job Description

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboration with technical teams and product stakeholders to ensure design and implementation is aligned with business requirements.

  • Develop clean and well thought out code for frontend and backend automated testing using Python, Groovy, Java & JavaScript.

  • Collaborate with external teams to manage and triage reported issues and verify fixes for existing issues.

  • Create and execute test plans for anything that can't be tested with automation.

  • Collaborate with our technical team on the merits of creating efficient and maintainable code.

  • Evaluate complex situations using multiple sources of information.

  • Be rigorous about accurate and useful technical documentation.

  • Support using agile development methodologies.

  • Effectively use current tools and be willing to learn and develop your technical skills continuously.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.

  • 3+ years of experience in OOP programming, preferably Python, Java or Groovy.

  • Familiar with cloud computing technologies (SaaS, PaaS).

  • Skilled in integration approaches and strategies and has done work involving web services (REST, SOAP).

  • Experience with relational databases.

  • Experience with Python, cucumber and other automation frameworks.

  • Hands-on experience in API Testing.

  • Excellent oral, written communications, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Assets:

  • Experience with system integrations, finance systems, human capital managements or enterprise performance management systems.

  • Experience with heavy workload enterprise systems is a plus.

  • Experience with SuiteScript is a huge plus.

  • Experience with Selenium is a plus.

  • Experience with CI/CD solutions (such as Jenkins, TeamCity) is a plus.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervised lower-level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
